Getting to the church
By car:
The church is very close to junction 15 of the M6 and just off the A34, so if you're coming a distance and heading north, leaving the motorway at junction 14 and driving up the A34 is a reasonable plan.
For further details, we suggest consulting a navigation system of your choice, which will do a better job of explaining than us.

Parking
There is a car park in Park Drive, for the church, which is a reasonable size but not huge. So if you're staying at the Premier Inn at Trentham Gardens, it's definitely worth walking from there. And if you're coming from elsewhere and get stuck for parking, there is plenty at Trentham Gardens.
Walking route from Trentham Gardens car park to the church
By train:
Stoke on Trent train station is about four miles away from the church and about a 25 minute walk down hill from the reception.
Getting to the reception
Penkhull Village Hall is about 3 miles from the church. Just be aware that although Penkhull was a village when it was listed in the Domesday Book and still describes itself as a village, it has not actually been in the countryside for a very long time. So if you were hoping we had invited you to spend the evening in a rural idyll, sorry to disappoint! And when your Sat Nav starts sending you into the middle of the city, do not be alarmed.

Parking...isn't great. Sorry.
Penkhull Village Hall has a small, long, thin car park tucked behind it, which you can see in the satellite image below. Apparently it will fit 'quite a few cars' so long as the people parking in it don't mind blocking people in or getting blocked in. So if you find a space in the car park, you're probably committing yourself to staying until the end.

Where to Stay
Here are a few thoughts. There's always google if you need some more ideas.
Premier Inn, Trentham Gardens
This is the closest venue. There is plenty of parking, it's in a nice setting and it's about a 10 minute walk, past the garden centre, to the church. It's on the Trentham estate, where there are cafes and shops in wooden huts, should that be of interest.
Travelodge, Trentham
The Travelodge is about two minutes walk from Catherine's house and a three minute drive or a twenty minute walk from the church.
Upper House Hotel, Barlaston
This is a friendly little independent hotel, in the village of Barlaston, which is about four miles (10 minute drive) from the church. On chilly evenings, there's usually a big log fire in the lounge. It's in a beautiful setting.
